BMW presented the new version of M1, 2012 BMW M1. The base design of 2012 BMW M1 is BMW Vision EfficientDynamics. I don’t know why but all M1 fans, didn’t really loved the idea to name this BMW model, a M1. The truth is that I really feel is not so good to be named M1 but I don’t know why yet.

In the continuing development of BMW's flagship 7-Series line, BMW has announced xDrive all-wheel drive versions of the 750i and 750Li. When combined with the previously announced V12-powered 760Li, the 7-Series range grows to five variants for model year 2010.
BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system has been enhanced for these new models to ensure that the 750i xDrive and 750Li xDrive set a new benchmark for handling characteristics among all-wheel drive sedans. BMW's Integrated Chassis Management, using the speed of its FlexRay on-board network and the quick-responding xDrive hardware, is able to identify and then limit understeer by shifting torque rearward (up to 80% to the rear axle) while preserving the stability for which xDrive has been so recognized.
As a second step, the Integrated Chassis Management system can then apply a precise combination of throttle and individual rear-corner braking in order to maintain perfectly neutral handling in a corner, regardless of road surface conditions.
For driving enthusiasts, model year 2010 also marks the debut of the M Sport Package for all 7-Series models. The M Sport Package includes an M steering wheel, functional aerodynamic kit, Active Roll Stabilization (RWD only), Shadowline trim, anthracite headliner and 19" wheels. 20" wheels are available at additional cost. Carbon Black Metallic exterior paint is also available with the new M Sport Package.

                              BMW 2012
BMW has become more than just a popular car – but also an icon among people today. When you see a BMW on the road it makes jealous that they got their hands on something that is full of luxury and class. Starting in 2012 BMW will be labeled as a large vehicle manufacturer over here in the U.S.
Because of this great honor the folks at BMW are now in talks amongst themselves to decide whether or not they will produce what they call “an ecologically compatible car for the U.S. market”. They are trying to prepare for the newer and stricter CAFÉ standards that will be in full force in a couple of years.
If they decide to go ahead with these cars they will be shifting gears. BMW is well known for the engines that they use – but these new cars will be battery operated according to a statement given by Norbert Reithofer – CEO of BMW. They are also thinking about starting from scratch with the design. This isn’t confirmed yet so we may still see a battery operated M5 in a couple of years.

When I first read the title I jumped at the link thinking that it really is the new M6, it was odd since this isn’t the usual way BMW announces new designs of their flagship vehicle. Turns out it is just a speculation and when I saw it I was a bit disappointed. The person who rendered this interesting looking vehicle did an excellent job with his interpretation of the new look, but I doubt the new M6 will look like this. I like the sleek lines and long look of the machine since the current M6 is quite large but I can tell their are a few missing details that any BMW lover would notice right away. It is more on a technical aspect but it does play a huge role, fist off the brakes have to be slotted and drilled, quad exhaust, and M slit down the side. These are small touches but they are what differentiates the M from the other BMW vehicles, still very interesting.
