BMW 2012

                              BMW 2012
BMW has become more than just a popular car – but also an icon among people today. When you see a BMW on the road it makes jealous that they got their hands on something that is full of luxury and class. Starting in 2012 BMW will be labeled as a large vehicle manufacturer over here in the U.S.
Because of this great honor the folks at BMW are now in talks amongst themselves to decide whether or not they will produce what they call “an ecologically compatible car for the U.S. market”. They are trying to prepare for the newer and stricter CAFÉ standards that will be in full force in a couple of years.
If they decide to go ahead with these cars they will be shifting gears. BMW is well known for the engines that they use – but these new cars will be battery operated according to a statement given by Norbert Reithofer – CEO of BMW. They are also thinking about starting from scratch with the design. This isn’t confirmed yet so we may still see a battery operated M5 in a couple of years.

When I first read the title I jumped at the link thinking that it really is the new M6, it was odd since this isn’t the usual way BMW announces new designs of their flagship vehicle. Turns out it is just a speculation and when I saw it I was a bit disappointed. The person who rendered this interesting looking vehicle did an excellent job with his interpretation of the new look, but I doubt the new M6 will look like this. I like the sleek lines and long look of the machine since the current M6 is quite large but I can tell their are a few missing details that any BMW lover would notice right away. It is more on a technical aspect but it does play a huge role, fist off the brakes have to be slotted and drilled, quad exhaust, and M slit down the side. These are small touches but they are what differentiates the M from the other BMW vehicles, still very interesting.

Hyundai tucson 2011

                                              Hyundai tucson 2011

Hyundai tucson 2011 The Hyundai Tucson is almost identical to its European and Korean-market counterparts, and is built on the same Elantra-based platform as the Kia Sportage. For the latest model, the Tucson benefits from Hyundai’s newest “fluidic sculpture” design themes, and improves significantly in style compared to the outgoing model.
Like the Sonata, the Tucson is powered exclusively by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder Theta engine that cranks out 176 horsepower — more than the outgoing model’s optional V6. Hyundai expects fuel economy to top out at an impressive 31 mpg on the highway (23 around town) with the optional six-speed automatic (six-speed manual standard) and the base front-wheel-drive setup. Expect a hit for all-wheel-drive models — Hyundai estimates 21 mpg around town and 28 mpg on the highway.
The outgoing model features three trim levels and two engines, and the latest model features two trim levels and a single engine for launch. The now standard model is labeled as the GLS, and the range-topping model remains the Limited.
The latest Tucson is now complemented with more agile handling, responsive steering and improved body roll control. Enhancements such as the MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension systems provide more precise wheel control and a smoother ride and make the new Tucson more fun-to-drive. To further aid in improved handling manners, stabilizer bar diameters have also increased with the front suspension growing to a 25 mm hollow stabilizer bar, yet saving weight versus the predecessors 21 mm solid stabilizer bar. The rear suspension has a new 18 mm solid stabilizer bar versus the predecessors 14 mm stabilizer bar. These larger stabilizer bars help to keep the vehicle flat during cornering and help provide quicker turn-in response.
The newest Tucson is actually longer than its predecessor by about 3.3 inches, but weighs in at 3,203 lbs — 61 lbs less than the outgoing model. This extra length helps inside, as the Tucson grows significantly in terms of both design and space. An optional panorama moonroof, Bluetooth and a CleanAir ionizer for the climate control system up the luxury ante.
Although not immediately available at launch, Hyundai will offer a Tucson Blue with an efficiency-oriented 2.0-liter base engine with dual variable valve timing that will achieve better fuel economy and power than the outgoing four-cylinder base engine. Both engines will be available with either six-speed automatic or manual gearboxes.

Honda civic 2012

                                                           Honda civic 2012

                                                 Honda civic 2012
The 2012 Honda Civic is one of the cars that the public is ready to experience. For the past thirty-nine years the Civic name has been one of the best selling smaller cars that are on the market. And with introduction of the ninth generation Civic, this trend is not going to cease. The new Civic is everything that consumers are looking for, they are sporty, good looking cars that are going to give the performance that people expect. However, probably the biggest news for Honda is that there are going to be several different versions of the 2012 Honda Civic that goes on sale for consumers.

The first is the standard coupe or sedan Civic. This is the basic version of all those that are available. However, even though these are basic, people can still expect to get around forty miles per gallon from these cars. The introductory price of these new Civics has not been released yet, however, they are sure to keep with the mode that they always have in offering affordable cars for all those that need them.

The company will be offering the two version of the Si Civic, which is the performance car of all the models being offered. The 2012 version is going to have even more power than past Si versions have had, which is sure to make them a fast seller off the lots. The cars are going to be equipped with a 2.4 liter i-VTEC engine that is going to improve performance drastically when compared to older models.

There is going to be a version of the Civic Hybrid offered that is going to offer amazing gas mileage. The car runs off of a lithium-ion battery for a majority of the time when the car is running, except on those long trips. And the person can expect to get around forty-five miles per gallon with this car. Plus, they get the knowledge of knowing that they are getting a car that is considered a great way to save the environment.

Probably the biggest news for the 2012 Honda Civic is that they are planning to release a Civic that runs on a natural-gas alternative fuel variant. However, whether this car is going to be available everywhere is still undecided. Those that are able to get their hands on one of these are going to have one of the newest technologies to hit the market in a few months.

Honda is also excited about the Civic HF, which is one of their newer concepts that are going to become one of the Civic family. This car is expected to get around forty one miles per gallon.

The company took this time to make a few changes to the looks of the Honda Civic in order to give it more edge and have it appeal to younger crowds. One thing that people are going to notice is that the fenders are changed. The fenders give the car a more sportier look that has a fierceness about it that it has lacked in the past. The cabin has been lowered and lengthened in order to make the car handle better through those tight curves since it is now sitting lower to the ground. Overall, most people are going to impressed by the new look of the Civic, it is still going to let people know immediately that it is a Civic, however, the 2012 versions are the Civic with a bit of attitude.

Some great news for consumers that are interested in purchasing these 2012 Civics, is that Honda is allowing consumers to choose what they want in their interior. They are truly making it to where the new Civics can be completely customized to the consumer that is purchasing it. Which means that everyone can get the exact kind of car that they want with the added benefit of having one of the newer cars that are out there without having to give up their arm or leg as payment.

With the history of Civic and the loyal consumers that follow the model, the 2012 models are sure to be of some excitement for them. The company is eager to start selling these as they do believe that consumers are going to find that they have reached out and made a car that everyone is going to love.
