While the 2012 Hyundai Accent sedan debuted at different auto shows around the world, including the 2010 Abu Dhabi Motor Show, China is playing host to the debut of the 2012 Hyundai Verna 5-door, essentially a hatchback version of the new Accent. Two engines are on offer in China, namely a 1.4-litre with 105 hp and 135 Nm of torque, and a 1.6-litre with 121 hp and 155 Nm of torque. So far, engines for the GCC market have not been released yet, but the sedan version will be coming here in a few more months.
